Preview: Sutter vs. Red Bluff
Sutter will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Red Bluff at 5:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Sutter had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Cardinal Newman last Friday as they made off with a 41-13 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6.
Meanwhile, Red Bluff took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Anderson 28-6. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Red Bluff had established a 21-0 advantage.
Their wins bumped Sutter to 1-0 and Red Bluff to 1-0. With both Red Bluff and Sutter swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
