Huron extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 10-17 in the process. They lost 18-2 to the Woodhaven Warriors. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
As for Woodhaven, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season. The result was nothing new for Woodhaven, who have now won 19 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
For Woodhaven's part, Natilee Pridemore was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Pridemore was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Looking ahead, Huron will take on Airport at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Jets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Woodhaven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
