Volleyball Recap: Marion Harding Triumphs

Marion Harding lost to Port Clinton back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Presidents came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 2-0.

Timia Jones paced Marion Harding's offense, picking up six kills. Jones got some help from Adriana Armbruster and her 11 assists. Alyssa Raysor controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Port Clinton had strong showings from Tatum Higgins, who had 14 digs and two assists, and Lilly Wagner, who had six digs. Calleigh Fought also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Marion Harding's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Port Clinton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Marion Harding didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Sandusky on the 13th. As for Port Clinton, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Start on the 13th.
