The Peoria Notre Dame Irish will head out on the road to challenge the Bloomington Purple Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peoria Notre Dame is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Peoria Notre Dame is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20 runs last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Richwoods on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2.

Bloomington not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 16-3). They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Centennial. The Purple Raiders haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Bloomington's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Peoria Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
