Volleyball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was the 2-1 winner over Davenport Central when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Davenport Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will face off against Iowa City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Davenport Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Davenport North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
