With a playoff win on the line, Parowan rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the North Summit Braves with a sharp 24-13 victory. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Erika Kelly, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 2-for-4. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Avia Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Parowan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 10.4.

Parowan's record now sits at 6-22. As for North Summit, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Parowan is on the road again on Saturday to play Duchesne at 12:30 p.m. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. North Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
