Volleyball Recap: Jack Britt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jack Britt lost against Gray's Creek back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-8, 16-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Karson Ives paced Jack Britt's offense, picking up seven kills. Ives got some help from Sarah Badra and her ten assists. Ives was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Jack Britt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Gray's Creek, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jack Britt will square off against Terry Sanford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gray's Creek, they will take on Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
