Soccer Recap: California Lutheran Comes Up Short

California Lutheran managed to keep up with The Grove School until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The California Lutheran C-Hawks lost 7-2 to The Grove School Ravens. The C-Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Jeremy Brindley wasn't going to let The Grove School walk away unscathed as he scored both of California Lutheran's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for The Grove School, they now have a winning record of 3-2-2.

California Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against La Sierra Academy on the 14th. As for The Grove School, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Bethel Christian on the 13th.
