Huffman kept a clean sheet against Clay-Chalkville on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Clay-Chalkville Cougars. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Allison Lopez and Cristel Turcios scored both of Huffman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Huffman and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Clay-Chalkville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Huffman will square off against Jackson-Olin at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Huffman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season. As for Clay-Chalkville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Clay-Chalkville take on the Pell City at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
