Soccer Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Comes Up Short

Stone Ridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bret Harte Bullfrogs an easy 11-1 victory. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-0.

Stone Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bret Harte, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stone Ridge Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Buhach Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bret Harte, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Manteca at 2:45 p.m. on December 30th.
