Basketball Recap: Cedar Grove-Belgium Comes Up Short

Cedar Grove-Belgium lost against Oostburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets received a blow as they fell 69-53 to the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Flying Dutchmen are ranked 11th).

Cedar Grove-Belgium's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Oostburg, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Random Lake the next time they take the court. Oostburg will host Random Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cedar Grove-Belgium will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
