Basketball Recap: Caney Takes a Loss

Caney came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Milburn Eagles 92-43. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Caney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Milburn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Caney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-30 loss against Roff on the 20th. As for Milburn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-34 win against Bennington on the 20th.
