Softball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Princeton can now relate to. They lost 11-0 to the Farmville Central Jaguars on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Princeton and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Farmville Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Princeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Farmville Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Bunn on the 8th.
