Baseball Recap: Sherman Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sherman proved they can win big last Friday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Weston-McEwen TigerScots 8-7. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three contests in a row.

Sherman's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for Weston-McEwen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Sherman will take on Weston-McEwen/Griswold at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Weston-McEwen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
