Softball Preview: Golden Demons vs. Holy Family Tigers

The Golden Demons will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Holy Family Tigers at 10:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Golden's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Pueblo Centennial 15-0.

Adrianna Riddle made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Riddle was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Madeline Stubenrauch was incredible, going 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Daely Peterson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

Arroyo has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting three hits from her three at bats. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September.
