Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 75-42 defeat at the hands of the Tilton School Rams. The contest marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Andrew's lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryanne Sheehan, who posted 15 points. Her big performance that afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aaralyn Scott, who earned 11 points.

St. Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's will take on Winchendon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tilton School, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on New Hampton School at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st.
