 Mooresville won the last time they faced Decatur Central, and things went their way  in Friday's  first game too. The Mooresville Pioneers walked away with  an   8-4  victory over the Decatur Central Hawks. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Mooresville.
  Liam Delp was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with four  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Levi Dorn, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 On Decatur Central's side,  Brayden Smith put in work while hitting and pitching. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Smith was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI.
 Mooresville now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Decatur Central, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-3.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mooresville beat Decatur Central by a score of  8-7 later that day.
