Volleyball Recap: Emily Manning's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Great Falls over Lewisville + How To Watch

Great Falls lost against Lewisville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-18.

Great Falls' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Manning, who had seven assists and one block. Another player making a difference was Kenslee Powers, who had eight assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Great Falls fell to 3-1-1. As for Lewisville, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Great Falls will face off against rival Governor's School for Science & Math at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lewisville is set to take on their familiar foe McBee at 6:45 p.m. on September 4.
