Football Recap: Hurricane Keeps Pine View's Under Pressure + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Hurricane duked it out with Pine View on Friday. The Tigers fell 31-27 to the Panthers. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Even if they lost, Hurricane's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Titan Wright refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Levi Shaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pine View, throwing for 282 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards. Those 33 rushing yards gave Shaw a new career-high.

Hurricane has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Pine View, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
