Warrior Run had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They blew past the Lewisburg Green Dragons 10-3. Considering the Defenders have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Warrior Run's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Lewisburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10-1.

Coming up, Lewisburg will venture away from home to face off against Milton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Warrior Run will be paying especially close attention to the Green Dragons' game: after the Green Dragons face off against Montoursville, they'll take on Warrior Run again at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
