PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central won the last time they faced Delavan and things went their way on Friday too. The Bluejays blew past the Panthers 15-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bluejays considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Cora Murphy was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Murphy was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central got a massive performance out of Aubrey Vogel, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Regan Heubner was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delavan only posted an OBP of .360.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central's record is now 10-12. As for Delavan, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-16.
