Basketball Recap: Carrboro Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Carrboro waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Louisburg Warriors by a score of 53-45. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 49-45 victory last Friday.

Among those leading the charge was Sam Kanjorski, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 16 points. Another player making a difference was DB Hamlett, who posted nine points.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Javion Lynch, who went 6-for-13 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Alexander, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 12 points.

Carrboro now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Louisburg, they dropped their record down to 7-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Carrboro has already played their next match, an 89-57 loss against South Granville on the 18th. Louisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
