Football Recap: Dixie Starts Season with Loss at Home

Dixie unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks on Friday, falling 34-3. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The victory got Mississinawa Valley back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Dixie and Mississinawa Valley will both be playing Bradford the next time they take the field. The Blackhawks will host the Railroaders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Greyhounds will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
