Thomas Jefferson was the 2-0 winner over Castle View when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Sabercats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Reese Myers paced Thomas Jefferson's offense, picking up nine kills. Myers got some help from Ellie Huntsman and her ten assists.

Thomas Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Castle View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Thomas Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Brighton on the 1st. As for Castle View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pueblo West on the 1st.
