Football Recap: Red Mountain Starts Season with Victory Against Desert Pines + How To Watch

Red Mountain had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Desert Pines Jaguars 44-21 on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Mountain Lions just coasted through the last quarter.

Red Mountain's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kaid Godaire, Cole Edmonds, and Yos Aunese, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Desert Pines' loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
