Softball Recap: Newton Falls Takes a Loss

Newton Falls lost against LaBrae back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for LaBrae, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Newton Falls is taking a road trip to square off against East at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. LaBrae will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' contest: after the Tigers faces off against East, they'll take on LaBrae again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
