Soccer Game Preview: Whitefish Bay vs. Burlington

The Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes will challenge the Burlington Demons on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Whitefish Bay sitting on three straight victories and Burlington on four.

Whitefish Bay is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Sheboygan North, who was ranked 16th at the time (Whitefish Bay was ranked 15th). The Blue Dukes came out on top against the Golden Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Burlington had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Panthers as they made off with a 6-1 win. With Burlington ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Racine Park with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hector Maldonado (2), Carter Willis (2), Mateo Moreno, and Jayden BeBow.

Whitefish Bay's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-3. As for Burlington, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
