Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey St. Martin Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Cristo Rey St. Martin extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Alexy Chapa. The Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM breezed by the Christian Heritage Academy Lions to the tune of 76-10 on Tuesday thanks in part to Chapa, who dropped a triple-double on 41 points, 13 rebounds, and ten steals. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Cristo Rey St. Martin's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Lilibeth Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Cristo Rey St. Martin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
