North Oldham faced Dayton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Greendevils. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won four matchups in a row.

North Oldham's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Dayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Oldham will head out to square off against Moore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dayton, they will square off against Scott at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Greendevils are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
