Basketball Recap: Dutch Fork Starts Season with Victory Against Lugoff-Elgin

Dutch Fork gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Lugoff-Elgin Demons 60-33. The Silver Foxes haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Justus Bell was nothing short of spectacular: he went 13-for-17 to rack up 32 points and eight rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Garner, who posted ten points.

Dutch Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-54 win against J.L. Mann on the 25th. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they have also already played their next matchup, a 59-53 victory against River Bluff on the 25th.
