Baseball Recap: Kosciusko Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Kosciusko has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 1.84 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to the Newton County Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Whippets have suffered against the Cougars since March 12, 2016.

Kosciusko's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-7. As for Newton County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

As of now, neither Kosciusko nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
