They took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains. McLane has struggled against Sierra recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Highlanders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cedric Hughes, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keyvon Burcher, who scored 14 points.
McLane's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Sierra, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 23-8.
McLane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on South at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. One thing working in South's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matchups.
