Jaedan Cobb Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Jaedan Cobb helped snap Crosby's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Cobb made a major impact on Saturday, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making 18 total tackles. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (111) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Crosby's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Cobb and Crosby will venture away from home to square off against Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Crosby's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Kalib Shaw. Shaw did his part (and then some), picking up two sacks and making 15 total tackles for the 'W'. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Shaw is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Watertown on Saturday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Shaw saw the Indians), he picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles.

Myers Posts Huge Game in 56-29 Defeat

While Joshua Myers delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Waterbury Career Academy. Ansonia had no answer to Myers as he picked up 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Myers' longest reception was for an incredible 82 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Waterbury Career Academy fell to 3-1. They and Holy Cross are set to duel on Friday.

Jireh"Jfetti" Rawlison Has Career Rushing Day

Thanks in part to Jireh"Jfetti" Rawlison, Crosby said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Saturday Rawlison picked up 90 receiving yards, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

For the year, Rawlison has averaged 72.5 receiving yards per game.

Ethan Blaize Makes It Two for Waterbury Career Academy

Another Waterbury Career Academy player making an appearance on this list is Ethan Blaize. He threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns.
