Volleyball Recap: Berry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Berry lost against Olympic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the Trojans. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Berry ultimately came up short, they really made Olympic work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-14.

Berry's offense was headlined by Layla Byrd and Aysha Clark, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Sanye Miller and her six assists. Zoey Wise controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Olympic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Berry will host Cox Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olympic, they are taking a road trip to challenge Chambers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
