Akai McGee Game Report: vs Mountain View

A big congratulations to Akai McGee, who grabbed at least five steals for the first time in her career. She posted six points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals as Santa Teresa fell to Mountain View 43-39. We rated that as her best effort of the season, edging out her previous best, set on Friday, when she put up ten points (Gamescore: 17.8 vs. 13.6).

McGee and Santa Teresa will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Willow Glen at 1:00 p.m. on January 11th. The matchup will pit McGee up against the Rams' star guard Samantha Schmidt. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
