Baseball Recap: Dickson County Takes a Loss

Dickson County saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Zionsville Eagles by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one run.

Dickson County got a good showing from Micah Pitts, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Pitts has allowed since back in February.

On the hitting side, Dickson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Dickson County's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Zionsville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Dickson County will host Avon at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Zionsville, they will take on Pickerington Central at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
