Soccer Recap: Douglas Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Worland, Douglas was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Gering Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. Douglas haven't had any issues with Gering recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Douglas hit Gering with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zander Vollman (2), Rylan Cowan, and Aaron Murilo.

Douglas' win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Gering, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

As for Gering, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Scottsbluff at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Gering are facing Scottsbluff at the right time seeing as Scottsbluff are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
