Basketball Recap: Chambers Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Chambers waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Harding University Rams as they made off with a 98-76 win. The Cougars pushed the score to 74-50 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.

Chambers was led to victory by Tarris Bouie III and Markus Kerr. Bouie III shot 5-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double with 35 points and 13 boards, while Kerr dropped a double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Kerr's evening made it 25 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Thompson, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Chambers smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Chambers' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.5 points over those games. As for Harding University, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.

As of now, neither Chambers nor Harding University have any future games scheduled.
