Softball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-3 to the Rosemead Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 13-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Rosemead, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall will take on rival South El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rosemead is set to face off against their familiar foe Arroyo at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
