Neither the Syracuse Cougars nor the Liverpool Warriors could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 6-6 tie. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Syracuse's draw gives them a new season record of 9-0-1. As for Liverpool, they moved theirs to 8-2-2.

Syracuse wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-13 win against Fayetteville-Manlius on the 12th. As for Liverpool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cicero-North Syracuse at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
