Monroe Central came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Caldwell Redskins, posting a 69-22 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-40 last Friday.

Despite the loss, Caldwell still got an impressive performance from Carter Wheeldin, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

Monroe Central pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Caldwell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-3.
