Volleyball Recap: Dixon Victorious

After losing to Forreston the last time they met, Dixon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dukes & Duchesses walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dukes & Duchesses.

Izzy Queckboerner paced Dixon's offense, picking up eight kills. Queckboerner got some help from Leah Carlson and her ten assists. Solis Thompson and Morgan Hargrave kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Dixon's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Forreston, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Dixon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Rochelle on the 4th. As for Forreston, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sterling on the 4th.
