Basketball Recap: Domonique Billue's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Westside over Callaway

Westside came up into this matchup off a tough 24-point defeat last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Callaway Cavaliers by a score of 35-33 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent loss being a 35-33 defeat two weeks ago.

Westside lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Domonique Billue, who posted 15 points and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of Westside's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 10-2 (and 4-8 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Destiny Spencer, who put up six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
