Softball Recap: Reeltown Rebels vs. Beulah Bobcats        
        
		
            
 Reeltown lost against Beulah back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Reeltown Rebels suffered a  tough 12-4 loss at the hands of the Beulah Bobcats. Reeltown has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 For Beulah's part,  Madyson Snedigar was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. Snedigar was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news, Beulah let  Libby Buchanan and  Abrianna Green loose on the outfield. Buchanan  scored a  run and  stole four bases while going 2-for-4, while  Green  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.  Elizabeth Hancock was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Reeltown now  has a losing record at 3-4. As for Beulah, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-8.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reeltown will take on Horseshoe Bend at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Horseshoe Bend is coming into the  contest with eight straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Reeltown will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. As for Beulah, they will be playing at home against Russell County at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Russell County knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Beulah likes a good challenge.
