Basketball Recap: Sherwood Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Sherwood had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They breezed past the Liberty Falcons to the tune of 82-40. Given the Bowmen's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Falcons are ranked 149th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sherwood's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.9 points over those games. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Coincidentally, Sherwood and Liberty will both be playing Century the next time they take the court. Sherwood will head out to face Century at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while Liberty will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
