Baseball Game Preview: Edison Spartans vs. Watkins Glen Lake Hawks

The Edison Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Watkins Glen Lake Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edison will be strutting in after a victory while Watkins Glen will be coming in after a defeat.

Edison gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 12-8 win over Notre Dame. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Crusaders on their field since May 8, 2023.

Meanwhile, Watkins Glen came up short against Spencer-Van Etten on Monday and fell 8-3.

The victory got Edison back to even at 1-1. As for Watkins Glen, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
