Basketball Recap: Brick Memorial Comes Up Short

Brick Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers. The Mustangs lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-27 score last time.

Brick Memorial now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Point Pleasant Boro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Brick Memorial will head out on the road to take on Howell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Point Pleasant Boro has already played their next matchup, a 58-53 loss against Barnegat on the 22nd.
