Maryville Christian sees their postseason come to a close

Recap: Maryville Christian Lions vs. Brownstown Bombers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Maryville Christian Lions can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Bombers on the road and fell 60-15. Maryville Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

Leading Brownstown to victory were Dayana Haslett and Lexi Seabaugh. Haslett scored 13 points, while Seabaugh scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Ramsey, who scored eight points.

Maryville Christian has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season. As for Brownstown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-7.

Maryville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brownstown, they will face off against Father McGivney Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Father McGivney Catholic is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
