Baseball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sherman's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Irrigon Knights on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Huskies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sherman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Irrigon, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherman will head out to face off against Grant Union at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Irrigon, they will venture away from home to take on Enterprise/Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st.
