Volleyball Recap: Lakeshore Comes Up Short

Lakeshore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Belle Chasse Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Belle Chasse this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-10, 22-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Lakeshore's loss dropped their record down to 14-22. As for Belle Chasse, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record this season.

Lakeshore has already played their next contest (against Newman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Belle Chasse, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ursuline Academy at 4:30 p.m.
